Stephanie founded Concihairge because she lived what so many of you are living. She saw the gap between how much women give and how little space they save for themselves. And being the kind of person who responds to a problem by solving it, she built something new. She brought the private hair stylist experience to the Main Line and changed how women here think about self-care.
Here is what she wants you to know, in her own words.
Dear Main Line Women,
I think about you every single day.
I worry about you, too. Not in a dramatic way, but in the quiet way you worry about someone you genuinely care about. Because every day I get to meet women like you, and every day I am reminded of how much you carry.
I started Concihairge with you in mind. Long before there was a name for it or a business plan behind it, there was just this feeling I could not shake: something needed to change. I fell in love with the hair industry through my very first job as a salon receptionist, not only for the wonderful transformations, but because of the conversations. Women would sit down in that chair and just… exhale. They would talk. They would finally stop moving for five minutes. And I would listen.
I listened to what your days actually looked like. The school pickups and the aging parents and the career demands and the mental load that never really turns off. I listened to how guilty you felt for even being there, getting your hair done, when there was so much else you could be doing. I took all of that in, and I thought: what if this did not have to feel like one more thing to fit in? What if it came to you instead?
That question became Concihairge.
You Give So Much. I See That.
I watch our clients’ lives, and I see the pattern. You fill everyone else’s glass, beautifully and generously, and then you wonder why yours feels so empty. You are running on fumes while somehow still showing up for everyone around you. Your kids. Your husband. Your parents. Your team. Your clients. Your friends.
You do it all. And because you do it so well, no one always notices the cost.
I notice. Our stylists notice. We see it the moment we walk through your door and you take that first real breath of the day. We see it in how you hold your shoulders when you finally sit down, not to manage something, but just to be taken care of. That moment is everything to me.
It Takes Courage to Put Yourself First
I want to say something that I mean completely: booking your first appointment with us is an act of courage.
